background

As both an engineer and an engineering leader, I'm always pushing myself and my team to do better—writing cleaner code, building smarter systems, and shipping work we're proud of, on time. My journey from Full Stack Engineer (with an abiding fondness for frontend development) to an Engineering Manager focused on impact and innovation has been all about balance—the craft of building and the strategy of scaling.

On one side, I love getting hands-on—refining architectures, improving user experiences, and ensuring every pixel and function serves a purpose. On the other, I thrive on guiding teams, shaping product direction, and fostering an environment where people can do their best work—a mindset I've held since long before tech, working in education, where coaching, structure, and adaptability were critical to success. Both sides fuel each other, and at the end of the day, I still love crafting great user experiences.

My leadership style is built on Radical Candor—clear, honest communication that drives growth, trust, and great work. I prioritize transparency, continuous learning, and creating an environment where every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered to do their best. Just like in the classroom, success isn't just about delivering results—it's about lifting people up, helping them grow, and creating something meaningful together. When a team thrives, the work thrives. And if we're doing it right, we're having a great time along the way.

With a strong technical foundation and a passion for leadership, I've led new product launches, international expansion, accessibility compliance, and full-stack feature development—not just delivering code, but driving real outcomes that matter.

But my focus isn't just on getting features out the door—it's on making a meaningful impact, improving user experiences, and delivering results that move both the product and the business forward.

Let's talk!
